king & queen of the mountain

Who wants to be King or Queen of the Mountain? There is a King and Queen of the Mountain award up for grabs for a climb segment and a descent segment on the 5 km course at Nationals, with zone4.ca arranging the timing of the segments for us.

THE CLIMB: The start is just before the steep climb in the Finger, and will finish at the top of Beckie’s Hill. 

DESCENT: The descent will start at the sharp left-hand turn after the Weather Tower, and will finish above the stadium as you hit the tracks. 

Look out for the green and red signs marking the start and finish of each section! 

Prizes will be awarded for the aggregate winner of each category based on their combined fastest segment time of each day (eg. for U16s, their fastest segment time on Monday plus fastest segment time on Thursday).
