LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT

The 2025 Ski Nationals celebration will take place in Canmore in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta. In the spirit of reconciliation, we respectfully acknowledge that these lands are the ancestral and traditional territories of the Îethka Nakoda First Nations, comprised of the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney First Nations; the Blackfoot confederacy, made up of the Siksika, Piikani, Amskaapipiikani and Kainai First Nations; the Tsuut’ina First Nation, and Rocky View Métis District 4.

We honour these and all other First Nations, Inuit and Metis lands, and are grateful for our relationships with the land and its Peoples.
